You know what I’m talking about. Every day you see it. A picture in a fitness magazine, a gym advertisement or a supplement commercial showing a fit woman curling a three pound dumbbell. Seriously? I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen any woman who is in fair to good condition pick up such a small weight. Unless it’s to move it out of the way to get to the bigger ones.
If you want to change your body you have to move weight. A lot of it. Or you will always be one of those women wondering why you aren’t seeing any real changes. NO you will not get bulky if you pick up the 12’s or 15’s. You will not suddenly wake up one morning, look in the mirror and see the She-hulk. It takes years of intense lifting and good eating to attain that level of muscularity in a woman.
So if you want to get results put down the magazines and pick up the dumbbells.
